Small Groups

Our church family meets every Sunday morning at 11:00 for Sunday School “Small Groups.” The entire church (from Pre-K to Adults) are divided up by roughly the same age groups in order to study to become “thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Call 618-585-4544 for more information.

Youth Group

God is working in our young people, and we are excited to see how He’s using them! An example to the younger children as well as the adults, our teens are anxious to serve God–and their commitment is contagious! With God’s help, our teens work hard to keep out of cliques, and to include, love, and befriend others! During the school year, our Youth Group meets regularly at least on Sundays at 4:30 pm. Call 618-585-4544 for more information.

College & Career

Our College & Career group covers many different backgrounds and jobs, but each shares the common bond of Christ in their life! With the struggle to be in the World, but not of it, we all need an encouraging group to build us up and hold us accountable. If you are interested in being a part of this group – call 618-585-4544!

Senior Soldiers

Our church family is blessed to have many fantastic senior citizens in our flock, who lead by example, mentor, and pray for our church body! We are firm in our conviction that these dear people are not “past their prime”, but are in reality a crucial and indispensable part of our family! We, therefore, are constantly encouraging them with ways to stay involved, so that they can “fight the good fight of faith” and “press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
Our church family has invested in a shuttle bus so that our Senior Soldiers can not only experience more fellowship together, but also be able to travel to events or places of interest together! If you would like more information, please call 618-585-4544.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. When we pray, we’re communicating with the God of the Universe! Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. We pray together on Wednesday nights as a corporate body. We also have weekend prayer meetings that started out of a desire for more time with the Lord.

Ladies’ Group

Each month, our women get together by meeting in one another’s homes or at Common Grounds. They have taken on the ministry of praying for our missionaries, specifically, as well as creating projects to better serve our college kids, missionaries, Shut-Ins, and anyone else the Spirit directs them to encourage! They also have Bible studies and prayer partner relationships with other women in the church.
Our ladies meet the second Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 pm. If you would like more information, please call 618-585-4544.

Marriage Counseling

Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. Our pastor and his wife serve the church as marriage counselors. Their role in listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging struggling couples has, by God’s grace, saved marriages, and repaired relationships. Couples have found fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse.

Trail Guide

ChristLife has created a discipleship program geared towards kids aged 3rd – 8th grade. We have “Rangers” to help guide the children each week as they complete their books.
Please talk to Sarah Warix if you are interested in helping out! Training sessions have been recorded and are available to you.
If you have a child who would like to participate, please contact us at 618-585-4544.

We believe that, according to New Testament teachings, the entire church family is to be involved in ministry, not just the pastors and deacons. Therefore, we have divided up many ministry opportunities into smaller “stewardships”, which any member may volunteer to serve in. Whether it’s the “Kitchen Stewardship” or the “Security Team Stewardship”, we are anxious for each member to be involved in service to our Lord! Call 618-585-4544 for more information.

Mission Teams

ChristLife is thrilled to help spread the good news of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries prayerfully as well as financially. Every couple years we send our youth group out on a missions trip. These are vital times for spiritual growth in the teens as well as the sponsors. Past missions trips have included work projects, camps, VBS in places as close as Missouri and as far off as Utah!

Music & Art

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. If you would like to serve through music, contact the church office. We are also excited about an interest in using art to worship God. If you would like to submit a piece of artwork to encourage the church family, connect with the pastors. There are also many opportunities to serve through dramas and special programs. Email us at or speak with our church staff, if interested in participating!

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded online. If you’re interested in being trained in this ministry, connect with the church office:

Children & Youth

There are many opportunities to work with our youth group and children ministries! We welcome the extra help, especially when volunteers have enthusiasm and creativity! Our young ones at ChristLife are very important to us. We recognize that they are each a valuable part of our family. In an effort to protect them as well as our youth workers, we have a very thorough screening process for each worker before they can serve with our youth, as well as a set of rules to be followed while working with them. Above all else, we do this in order to keep Christ’s testimony pure and spotless in the World.

Our Church Shut-Ins are such dear people who we are burdened for because they aren’t able to fellowship as much anymore. As they’re unable to get out of the house, we are always excited to hear of church members who can visit, call on the phone, bake a special treat, study the Bible with, or otherwise encourage these  loved ones. If you would like to get involved, give the church office a call at 618-585-4544, or email us at
